I know, it’s only mid-summer and London is currently a heat box but amid all the crop tops and playsuits, the autumn-winter collections seem to be creeping into most stores! Zara is probably my favourite high street brand and unfortunately, I rarely leave a store empty handed. Their new autumn-winter collection is no exception, peppered with deep greens, warm nudes and cool patterns; below are some of my must-haves from this collection.
It’s wedding season here in London!
In my opinion, it’s always more fun to be the guest than the host as you get to dress up and enjoy the wonderful weather (fingers crossed!), food, drinks and the company of friends and family without the stress. Speaking of getting dressed up, wedding outfits automatically mean dresses in pastel, a pop of colour or something bright (to me anyways!). ASOS ticks all of the above and I feel is the go-to place to find the perfect occasion dress. Having a few weddings to attend myself this summer, below are some of my inspirations for the upcoming events.
My Sundays are normally embarrassingly lazy. There is nothing I like more on a Sunday than to be sprawled out on my couch all day, watching trashy TV and stuffing my face but yesterday I went against all my natural instincts (even braving the London downpour!) and headed east to an exhibition I’ve wanted to see for quite a while now; The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier, From The Sidewalk to the Catwalk.
I’ve spent most of my life as an expat in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where although you enjoy thirty degree weather all year round, there is no change in season and more importantly, no seasonal wardrobe changes! The past seven years in the UK however have had me running to the shops, excessively browsing mid-season sales and making a rather large dent in my bank account every time BBC Weather predicts a rise or fall in temperatures.
It’s finally summer in this part of the world and my current obsession is white jeans so I’ve put together some of my favourite outfits with this summer staple for the warmer days and nights ahead.

I’ve dabbled with blogs here and there over the years, starting way before blogging was considered cool. Those were the angst ridden teen years and now, in my quarter-life crisis, I seem to be turning to my keyboard once again for assistance.
I hope this blog helps facilitate my three biggest passions – food, fashion and travel; or what I call life. And I hope even more so that you’re inspired enough to go on this journey with me.
