There’s a fresh new brunch spot for you to spend your Saturdays, in the uber cool east London!

I’ve already raved about Dirty Bones Carnaby in this post but they’ve now opened another establishment in the hipster-friendly neighbourhood of Bethnal Green and kindly invited me along to the soft launch.

Housed in a stunning and iconic heritage building, Dirty Bones Shoreditch brings the best of both British and New York cool. They’re also the only branch to introduce a breakfast menu.

We started our Saturday afternoon off with a couple of cocktails: Bloody Mary & the Littlest Hobo (don’t be put off by the name, this one was definitely a hit!).

The brunch spread!

We went for the Short Rib: pulled short rib with poached eggs and new potatoes. The meat was delicious and melt-in-your-mouth soft.

As you already know, I can never go for a brunch (lunch or dinner for that matter!) and not order fries! This was Breakfast Fries: crispy french fries topped with two free range fried eggs and a homemade smoked ketchup. We asked for the fried eggs to be served on the side. I’m not too keen on having fried eggs on my fries…

I loved the homemade smoked ketchup!

Good old Chicken & Waffles: half pile of crispy fried chicken with freshly baked waffles and a shot of maple syrup. Now, I’m not a big fan of mixing sweet and salty but I know this one’s a crowd favourite!

Ending the meal with a couple of Lexy’s: Finlandia vodka, prosecco, Amaretto Luxardo, lemon juice, strawberry puree and gimme syrup.

Dirty Bones Shoreditch has a great atmosphere, music and interiors with really friendly staff. You could easily spend hours here eating and drinking the afternoon away. They’ll also be having DJ nights every Friday and Saturday from 9pm featuring old school funk, soul and hip hop music. A great all rounder.

The closest tube stations are Liverpool Street and Bethnal Green and you can find out more information here. It officially opened yesterday so head on down!

I was invited as a guest of Dirty Bones Shoreditch.
