Celebrating my engagement back home, an amazing new lipstick find and stuffing my face with the most delicious crispy duck in London; just some of my April favourites!
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser – I’ve been going back and forth with the idea of possibly doing my own makeup for some of my wedding events. Hence, I’ve been researching everything and anything to do with makeup. That’s when I came across this NARS Tinted Moisturiser and fell completely in love it! It’s got just enough cover to even out your skin tone without masking your skin entirely and the right amount of glow. I highly recommend this for those not too into foundation but still looking for a little something.
Gold Mine – I discovered this little gem nestled in the middle of Bayswater last month and have been there three times already! The best item on the menu is their crispy duck which comes in a quarter, half or whole that the waiters shred in front of you to be had inside super thin pancakes along with thinly chopped cucumbers, spring onions and drizzled with hoisin sauce. Finger-licking good!
Bobbi Brown Art Stick – This was a complete impulse purchase at the airport on my way back home last month and I’m so glad I went for it. Bobbi Brown have just launched these lipstick pencils that glide on incredibly smooth but still give a matte finish (my favourite!). I went for Sunset Orange which is a lovely coral-orange.
Engagement Celebrations – I’ve already written about the amazing time I had back home celebrating my engagement with friends and family. It was definitely the highlight of my month!
Dainty Necklaces – I love my big chunky Zara necklaces but recently I’ve been more into little dainty ones and this piece from H&M is just perfect.
Contouring Face Shapes – Contouring has been absolutely everywhere, and I mean everywhere! I still find it fairly daunting but this guide definitely helps with the best way to contour various face shapes.
